Q: How do I know which Agent is right for me?
A: One important quality in an agent is the amount of clout he or she has. A great agent has influence, lots of industry relationships, and other clients who are in demand. Ideally, you want to be represented by this kind of agent. Based on your interview, you should have a general vibe from your agent. Is he or she excited about you? Do you feel that he or she will fight for you? Your agent can be, but is usually not, your friend. But you don't want an agent whom you can't stand, either.Q: What should I send in my package to you?

A: Send by email or regular mail a copy of your headshot(s) and resume and any other information that you feel will help us make your decision.

Q: How long will it take to get an answer?
A: If we have openings and are interested, we will likely call or email within 48 hours.

Q: Do you charge any fees or expenses?
A: We do not charge fees or expenses other than for a permit that may be required to perform in Union projects.

Q: What are your commission rates?
A: Rates are 10% for Theatre & Stage projects, 15% for Commercial, Film & Television projects and 20% for Print work.

Q: Do you represent certain ages or types?
A: Hines represents every age category and ethnicity. Children and Adults 12+ must have some training or past experience.
